Join violinist Ilana Zaks-Nederlander for an engaging, highly interactive lecture–recital that blends live performance with storytelling, guided listening, and audience participation. Rather than a traditional concert format, this hour invites listeners into the music—offering historical context, musical insights, and real-time conversation about the works as they unfold.
Throughout the program, Ilana will pause between pieces (and within movements) to explore themes of Jewish identity, memory, prayer, diaspora, and artistic voice, encouraging audience reflection, questions, and dialogue. Listeners are invited to engage actively—responding to ideas, noticing musical details, and experiencing how meaning shifts when we listen more deeply together.
